Surprisingly, Takeshi agrees to become her pet. Takeshi, who has nowhere else to stay, begs to be allowed to stay in Sumire's house. She originally refuses, then proposes he'd be allowed to stay only if he behaves like her pet dog, Momo. She takes him inside her home and cleans his wounds. To hide from them, Takeshi ends up in a box, bruised and bleeding, right at Sumire’s doorstep. Then comes a young dancer, Takeshi who ran away from his traditional ballet ruled home in order to pursue his love of modern dance. She experienced frequent terrible headaches and is advised by her therapist to get a pet to soothe the irritations of everyday life that cause the headaches. Sumire coolly ended the relationship as she doesn't like to come across as being weak and continued her daily worklife of being ostracized by her colleagues. Momo later passed away and she grieved for a long time. Her last relationship ended when her boyfriend cheated on her with an average woman who he plans to marry. She used to have a golden retriever, Momo whom she loved dearly because Momo accompanied her through her childhood struggles when her parents got divorced. She's tall, capable, hardworking, independent and intimidating. Sumire is your typical career woman on fast track in her newspaper publishing company. This is a 10 episode journey through the budding relationship between Iwaya Sumire (Koyuki) & Goda Takeshi (Matsumoto Jun).
